Arrival at Entebbe. Stay at Boma or Protea or Hotel No.5

Drive to Lake Mburo National Park. Stop over at the equator. We shall set off after breakfast and head west to the smallest savannah park in the country. It should take about 6-7 hours. Home to the towering Giraffes, Zebra, Eland, Topi and Impala. We shall have a quick stop at the equator as we cross to the Southern Hemisphere. Lunch on the way. Arrive at lodge, check-in and have a relaxed afternoon. Stay at Kigambira Wilderness Lodge or Kigambira or Mihingo Lodge.
Game drive in the park and afternoon checkout. We shall have a morning game drive through the park searching for Zebra, Buffaloes, Impala, Giraffes and other animals. Return to the lodge for lunch and transfer to Kibale National Park. We shall drive to the primate capital of the world. Stay at Chimpanzee Forest Lodge or Turaco Treetops or Primate Lodge or Chimpundu Lodge.

Chimpanzee tracking and afternoon community activities. After breakfast, we shall be expected at the briefing point by 8am so that we can get a briefing before starting the amazing activity of tracking our forest cousins, the Chimpanzee. Other primates that can be seen in the forest include: L’Hoest’s Monkey, Mantled Guereza, Uganda Mangabey, Red-tailed monkey and Olive Baboons. In the afternoon, we can visit the community of Bigodi for a swamp walk. Return to lodge after for dinner.Â
