3 Day Gorilla Tracking

Day 1

Flight from Entebbe to Kihihi. Stay at Buhoma Community Haven or Mahogany Springs. Begin your journey with a scenic domestic flight from Entebbe International Airport to Kihihi Airstrip, offering breathtaking aerial views of Uganda’s lush landscapes as you head toward the Bwindi region. Upon arrival, transfer to your lodge in Buhoma, the gateway to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to the famous mountain gorillas.

You can choose between two excellent accommodation options:

• Buhoma Community Haven Lodge – A warm, community-run lodge offering an authentic local experience, comfortable cottages, and the chance to directly support nearby communities.
• Mahogany Springs Lodge – A more luxurious option featuring spacious suites, private terraces, and stunning views over the Munyanga River and forest.

Both lodges provide a perfect base for your gorilla trekking experience, combining comfort with close proximity to the park headquarters.

Gorilla Tracking and optional afternoon community activities (visit Ride for a Woman).
